The Christmas festival of the Paseo de la Sexta commemorates 10 years of taking place, this year due to situations of Covid-19 will be carried out by floats that will travel the streets of the 22 zones of the Capital city to reach as many homes as possible.
The Christmas joy and the spirit that accompanies this special time for Guatemalan families will arrive with a parade that will be held for 25 continuous days, starting today at 19:00 hours, which will be called "Christmas Bells", this name was given because prior to the tours a vehicle of the Municipality of Guatemala, will announce with bell sounds the start of the daily parade.
There will be different floats representing the participating brands and collaborators that make the festival possible.
Simultaneously with the parade there will be broadcasts on the social networks of the Municipality, which will have different dynamics during the festival.
There will be micro-concerts of national artists, artistic presentations, shows in collaboration with the Municipal Dance Company.
The closing of the festival will be with the play "Alice in Wonderland", with the participation of the Municipal Dance Company under the direction of Reyna Silva and the Municipal Youth Symphonic Band directed by Fernando Ozaeta.
The festival will have activities in social networks, in which there will be daily interactions such as: workshops, Christmas recipes, contests and interviews.
